YourVote Branding & Promotionals
YourVote Branding & Promotionals
YourVote is a non-partisan company dedicated to getting voters involved in the political scene in a way that makes their voice heard by the right officials at the right time.
To set the tone for the app, the public face of YourVote needed to be approachable, trustworthy, and patriotic without being partisan. We opted for solid American reds and blues with bold colors and subtle backgrounds. We created a wide spread of promotional tools for elected officals to inform voters about the app, including brochures, mailers, and convention banners.

Salisbury Creative Group Logo
Salisbury Creative Group Logo
Ben Salisbury of Salisbury Creative Group needed a logo for his newly formed consulting and photography business. He had purchased a hawk icon that he wanted to use but needed some design work to form it into a logo and to incorporate a gold accent color. We experimented with several fonts, layouts, and ways to incorporate the accent color and landed on a simple and balanced logo that could be extended later into a full-fledged brand. To see Ben's work, and the logo in action, visit his site at www.salisburycreative.com.

Egghead Culinary Logo
Egghead Culinary Logo
An “egghead” is a highly intellectual expert in their field. Egghead chef Tim Soufan is expanding his culinary consulting business. He and his team at Salisbury Creative Group are developing a brand identity that is intelligent, analytical, and brings top-notch quality to the science of food but is still able to laugh at itself. For a logo to spearhead that effort, we used an approachable, friendly main font with a clean-lined, academic subheader font and an orange that pairs well with mouthwatering food photography. We created several variants of the logo for use in a variety of contexts. Amy Hamm Design's work on this project was in conjunction with Salisbury Creative Group.

Green Glass Global Logo
Green Glass Global Logo
Green Glass Global is a wine and spirits broker who connects beverage producers with the companies who will sell their product to consumers. The GGG team wanted a logo that was clean, minimal, and played up the beauty of the iconic green glass bottle. We selected fonts and imagery with clean lines and rounded edges that mimic the curves of a glass bottle. See the logo and read more about Green Glass Global at www.greenglassglobal.com.

Eastgate CCF Logo
Eastgate CCF Logo
Eastgate Creative Christian Fellowship, a church in Nashville, TN, was in the process of updating their brand and needed a new logo. To reflect the church's organic feel and focus on creative expression, I created a custom brush script logo with rough edges. The church also requested a "you are here" badge which can be used both with the logo and as a standalone piece. Check out the logo on Eastgate's website: www.eastgateccf.com.

Wildwood Christmas Tree Farm Logo
Wildwood Christmas Tree Farm Logo
Wildwood Christmas Tree Farm is all about Christmas. They have to be, since they’re growing Christmas trees 24/7 on their family farm outside Nashville, TN! When they decided to upgrade their website, it was time for a more formal logo as well. They had been using a beautiful painting of the farm’s hillside as a logo, so we incorporated imagery from the painting into a simplified cattle-brand style logo that felt at home on the log cabin gift shop at the farm and amid the leafy spruce and pine branches. See their schnazzy new website and book an ornament painting workshop at wildwoodchristmastreefarm.com.

Chicken Doo Records Logo
Chicken Doo Records Logo
The logo for Chicken Doo Records is probably the most unusual request I’ve ever received. The owner was setting up a small-time Nashville record studio as an addition to his drum head manufacturing and sales business. The name for his studio came from the fact that his home was situated next to a chicken farm, and every morning he awoke to the sounds of roosters greeting the dawn (and taking care of business at the other end). For his logo he specifically requested a cartoon chicken running on a record table while singing and pooping. Finding a font that was as outrageous as the name proved to be the hardest part.

The Dessert Girl Logo
The Dessert Girl Logo
Cakes were flying off the shelves at The Dessert Girl, which meant it was time for a logo to help potential customers know that the delicious desserts in front of them were made by everybody's favorite cake lady. Lisa, The Dessert Girl herself, had envisioned a logo that summed up her business - cakes, cupcakes, and cake pops handmade and delivered with flair. We crafted a sketched and watercolored look to complement her almost-too-cute-to-eat cakes.

Think Global Conference Logo
Think Global Conference Logo
Fellowship Church holds a yearly missions conference called "Think Global" which informs members of the church about ways they can reach the nations with the Gospel both overseas and at home. The FC missions staff wanted a logo that would help church members get excited about the conference in the weeks leading up to its kickoff. We decided on a logo featuring shoes laid out as if removed before entering a house - a custom in many countries - to convey the idea that there is much we can do to reach people of other nations right here at home.

CRM Brochure
Salisbury Creative Group needed a brochure to communicate their CRM setup and maintenance packages at a trade show. They knew that in the trade show environment they may only get an uninterested glance from passersby, so they wanted a visually engaging piece that illustrated the value their services could add to a small winery's sales team. We used infographics, bright but sophisticated colors, and a paper with a memorable texture to catch the eye and open the door for a conversation. In addition to the paper version, we also created a digital, slide-based copy of the content for display on Salisbury Creative Group's website.

The Nursie Marketing
The Nursie Marketing
Tiffany at The Nursie created a small pillow that slips over a mother's arm and solves many a breastfeeding woe. The business soon expanded from an in-house operation to major retailer websites and nationwide shipping, which made it time to put some serious thought into The Nursie's branding and accompanying materials. Tiffany wanted a style that was elegant, luxurious, and focused on moms rather than babies. We created a host of marketing and packaging materials in soft, girly colors and bouncy cursive fonts to accompany The Nursie pillow to stores, trade shows, and homes. Order a Nursie of your own at theNursie.com.

Classic Novels Poster Set
Classic Novels Poster Set
Some dear friends of mine commissioned me to design a set of posters highlighting novels they considered classics. Each poster features the title in the font used on the book cover, a memorable quote, and an iconic image from the story. The posters are designed to be viewed as a set, so each contains elements complementary to the others, uniting them across period and genre.

Ruthann Cranford Business Card
Ruthann Cranford Business Card
My dear friend Ruthy was finishing up her graduate degree in museum and gallery exhibition and needed a business card as she started networking and looking for a job. The goal of a business card is to make an impression and be remembered beyond that parting handshake, and we decided that Ruthy’s most memorable quality is her red hair and enthusiastic personality. We designed a business card that was both professional, artistic, and memorably Ruthy.

Tea Party Signage
Tea Party Signage
I don't often get to create cute things, so when I had the honor of throwing a bridal shower tea party for a dear friend, I went all out to make her party extra special! My friend is not a super girly girl, so her maid of honor and I tried to strike a properly fun but not overly girl tone. The party was a blast and the invitations and signs remain one of my favorite projects. Photo by Amy Allmand Photography

Capsher Recruiting Materials
Capsher Technology, a software consulting company based in College Station, TX, needed an engaging and cohesive look for the recruiting materials they take to job fairs on college campuses. They wanted to emphasize their problem solving process, which relies heavily on whiteboarding and collaboration, and to make it clear to passers-by that they hire software developers.

Fellowship Church Missions Partnership Banners
The FC pastors wanted artwork to remind the congregation to pray for the people-groups and mission teams in areas where the church sends missionaries and aid. The 9 foot banners also serve to liven up the stage in the gym where the congregation has Sunday services. The pastors wanted a design that could be used for many years despite changes in trend and that gave an authentic look into each country. To accomplish these goals we used photos taken by church members on mission trips in a "cool but timeless" photo collage.
